Theme Verse for Faith Fest 2026
Remembering the woman who worshipped without apology
Hi Friends,
Faith Fest 2026 is just around the corner, and today I want to introduce the Bible passage that we will be focusing on as our theme.
This year at Faith Fest we will be creating and teaching from Mark 14:3–6.
It’s the story of the woman who poured expensive perfume on Jesus. Some criticized her and questioned her. But Jesus defended her.
She worshipped Jesus boldy and without apology, and Jesus fully understood her heart.
So often we hesitate and doubt our own creative expressions of worship. We question ourselves when we work on our artistic projects, wondering if it matters, if our time and energy should be spent on “more important” things. We wonder if we’re being too self indulgent or selfish.
But what if, like Jesus said to the woman, we could hear the Lord’s approval - that our creative act of devotion is seen as a good work, “a beautiful thing”?
At Faith Fest, you’ll see multiple women interpret this passage through art journaling and creative expression, each one bringing new depth and insight.
You can register to attend the free workshop days on April 20th and 21st here:

I truly believe this passage is going to minister to so many of us.
We all need encouragement in our creativity and spiritual journey!
Blessings,
Aiko
P.S. Read Mark 14:3–6 before the event and ask God what He might want to show you.
